Term 1 is done

School holidays are here, and it's now only a matter of days before the boys and I are in NZ again, yayyy!!!

Miss E's not comng this time as she flying solo to visit our old neighbours in Perth. They bought her ticket and have plans to spoil her while she's there! Awww look this was them a few years back..
.

Miss E has so shot up in the last year, she was even taller than me when I had heels on today :) :)

I'm loving that the first term has been marked with little successes for each of the kids...

Miss E roared with laughter when she discovered she won the Year 9 maths award this term. Ha she didn't expect that as she doesn't enjoy maths and had no idea she was doing so well.

Last week I got a text from her at school saying she was about to give her testimony to all of year 7 this time! (Remember how she shared in front of her year too) Amazing, she is a blessing and joy!

J:  I was so thrilled that J got selected to enter some kind of writing award for his school! He thinks on a different planet that boy...it's awesome!
He also got the winning shot that landed his basketball team in the grand finals! I love how he's so unique and believe he's going to do something genius with his life :)

Lij Oh boy did we get a glowing report about him at parent interviews last week!! On Thursday he also received an award at the end of the term 'Honour Assembly' for his achievement this term in Visual Arts. He truly gives his best.

Haha and my brothers will laugh at this one: J and Lij were both chosen to be part of their school AFL (Aussie rules) teams.

Choppy: Wow he can run!!! On Wednesday he won his school cross country.
Haha Miss E had offered him $20 if he won, perhaps that was motivation enough! Drat I was at work and missed it, but apparently he was well ahead of everyone else and not even puffed.
He was also 'Man of the match'  first game back at soccer.
He's all boy and not so much a bubba anymore, with big teeth now to prove it!

Ahhh it makes me smile just writing about them. They're at their dad's now for some of the school holidays, so all is quiet...I'm picking them up again soon though for night church.

Happy holidays to those who are now on them...and see some of you next week in NZ!
