For our kids

"Our priority when we split was always the boys - to get them through it. You see people separate and use the kids as pawns and it isn't fair to them. We've had Christmas dinners here with the whole family. The kids need to see that-that even though you're separated you can maintain a certain amount of dignity" -Denise Drysdale

I'm pleased that BP (The kid's Dad) and I have reached a place where we get on fairly well.

It's been a process...

For those who've been with me awhile you would have seen we've been able to go out for Christmas lunch and the kid's birthdays together, and he kindly drops us at the airport when we go to NZ.
It may seem weird to others, but it doesn't really feel weird to us...although I do ride in the back with the kids when we're in his car!
I know this dynamic will change again once new partners are added to the picture but for now it is working for us, and I see it has brought about a greater security in our children.
