The Proverb 31 wife

I'm not a wife, let alone a noble one (!!) but that doesnt mean I can't be totally inspired by the virtuous wife described in Proverbs 31, she's flippn amazing!!!

Don't get daunted now, she's pretty incredible ...and read on, her secrets at the end! {But you know what, she honestly sounds like so many of you!!}

 

A WIFE OF NOBLE CHARACTER:
 

Her Worth:

A virtuous wife is the most precious treasure a man can find!! Like the rarest of stones she is truly captivating and valuable beyond measure.

Her enterprise:

Her willingness to work hard, and thought-through business decisions generate earnings of her own. She is invigorated by what she does, and eager to get to it!

Her compassion :

With open arms she reaches out beyond herself to touch the lives of others. From what God has blessed her with she fills her hands and extends them to the poor and needy.  

Her household:

She takes good care of her family and home, and suffers nothing from laziness. Her family are warm in Winter, get a nutritious start to the day, and 'variety is the spice of life' as she brings buys food from a far!

{NB and she also has maids to help with the load!}

Her beauty:

Strength and dignity are her clothing; she knows her worth and that she is loved and valued 'far above rubies & pearls' by God and her husband. Her devotion to them shines from the inside out. She is physically fit and dresses in beautiful fabrics and colours, & laughs at days to come!
 

 
Her husband:

She does him good all her days and enriches his life! He is respected and a leader in the land. He honours and praises her, exclaiming that compared to others she excels, and surpasses them all!

Her children:

She looks well to how things are going in her household, and knows where her children are at. They too are watching her life and example and 'rise' {Stand to honour her, grow-up} and call her blessed

 Her speech:
The law of kindness is on her tongue, and she speaks with skillful and godly wisdom

Her reward:

She receives the fruit of her hands {What she deserves in life!} and the is praise and admiration of many for the good things she has done.

Her secret??!

Is found in the secret place...She reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord. Her love and devotion for Him permeates every part of her life!
