Weekend lovin!

At Mums 60th 2010
The weekend just gone was one of those wonderfully ordinary ones (where the kids hardly fought) & we all enjoyed each other -Loved it!

My twitter on Saturday night: "Loved today! Sleep-in, pancakes, soccer, late roast lunch, stuff around home, a big walk with the kids, hot bath, movie...all so good :)"

We tidied Miss E's room ready for our French student who arrived this morning.

Chloé is with us for 3 weeks, hope we're not too much of a mad-house for her! & next year Miss E will spend time at Chloés house in Nice, France. What an exchange!

There was also more of  J's cooking, haha!!
I say "haha" because he always wants to make the most random stuff!
ie His kiwifruit jam turned into hard boiled lollies, marshmallow into breath-mints...and this weekend his tangelo marmalade became sorbet :)  :)

We headed to the shops on Sunday afternoon as J still had some birthday money he wanted to spend.
...& what do you think he bought?????
Cook-books!!

Things are lookin good though: 'Jamie Oliver's: 30 minute Meals' !! My J's going to work his way through the book starting with the 'Cauliflower Macoroni' next weekend. I'll let you know......what it turns into!

Have a great week everyone! I might try Lynn's '85 year old me link' sometime, I've enjoyed reading your posts!

Bye for now xox
